This will be the studios sixth show depicting art from an open call encouraging artists to share how the expressive arts have impacted their health and well being.  Art was juried by Beth Ann Short and Jake Barnett of the 100th Monkey as well as Alice Noyes and Jaime Hedlund from Street Yoga.  During jury process art was considered for formal aesthetic elements, but also metaphorically, considering the process of each artist in relation to their story submitted with their artist statement.  Art is both 2-d and 3-d with work focused on recovery, family and process.  Coincidentally, in March the National Coalition of Creative Arts Therapies Associations also recognizes Creative Arts Therapies Week, this year March 18-24, 2012.
