Street Yoga Teacher Training

This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Yoga Alliance for 14 hours of Continuing Education Units.

In this training, you will receive practical, real world knowledge and techniques that will assist you in teaching at-risk youth. You will also be encouraged to dig into your personal experience in order to draw out your own courage and compassion.

Requirements

Applicants are not required to have completed a teacher-training program.  However, because our training helps trainees understand how to use and adapt what they already know for the purposes of yoga service, all applicants are expected to have personal or professional experience with yoga and/or meditation.  We suggest a minimum of 15 hours of experience in any combination of personal practice, studio classes, and/or individual instruction.
